A New Fundraising Idea
This year, the Dawson Creek Art Gallery's very popular events, Pick A Painting will be on display October 19th to October 30th. This is our fall fundraiser where we provide the canvas and our artists provide the talent, donating their time to create a work of art that will be drawn for at $100 per ticket.
On October 30th we will have a celebratory "closing" for the exhibit with a bit of a twist. Keeping in mind the date, the closing will be an "adult" Halloween event with Chocolate fountains, desserts and liquors, as well as prizes for best costume (come dressed as your favourite fictional character) and the best carved pumpkin. Why should the kids have all the fun? Any artist who is interested in participating in this event can pick up there canvas at the gallery!
